If I find any more I will post again.Peter Newark Castle (Nottinghamshire), which was owned by the Bishop of Lincoln Had a Constable for the Crown from 2nd November 1317 named Rober de Pirpount. An early spelling of the name.
Early spellings of names are not always the same as modern ones, so search around variants of the name.
